2 injured in head-on crash

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people were injured Sunday in a head-on crash in Liberty.

According to police, a Mercury Milan was traveling on Tibbets Wick Road, between Edwards and Pleasant Valley roads, early Sunday afternoon when the driver crossed the center line and collided with a Buick Rendezvous.

Both drivers were taken Saint Elizabeth Health Center. Their names and conditions were not immediately available.

It is not clear if road conditions played a role in the collision. Many roadways were snow covered Sunday as early morning snowfall blanketed the area.

Scattered snow showers remain in the forecast through Sunday ahead of an arctic air mass heading our way for the beginning of the week.
