The Victory Christian Chargers battled the Troy Eagles Friday night, and won 51-43.
The Chargers opened up the game on a 9-0 run, and held a significant lead at halftime. In the second half however, the Eagles opened fire from behind the arc, hitting 7 three-pointers. This barrage brought the score within five with two minutes on the clock.
The Chargers withstood the onslaught and secured the win from the free throw line going 6 of 8 in the final minute.
The Chargers were led by Jonathan Creed who had 25 points off 10 assists from Dorian Kundle, who also contributed 11 points. The top scorer for the Eagles was Jimmy Scheel who had 23 points which included four three balls.
