Man found shot, lying near car

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – New Castle police have identified the man who was fatally shot and found near a vehicle early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Sciota Street for a suspicious vehicle, but when they arrived, they found Robert Quincy Brown, 35, of New Castle, lying outside of the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.

A motive is not clear and police have not named any suspects.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call New Castle police at (724) 656-3858.
