Canfield hockey falls to Twinsburg

The Canfield Cardinals fell to the Twinsburg Tigers 5-2 in high school hockey action at the Ice Zone Friday.

After trailing 2-0 early in the first period, the Cards rallied for two goals in the second period to tie it at 2-2.  TJ Sakkas had a goal and an assist and Danny Drotleff also scored.  Nick and Pete Crescimmanno added an assist each for Canfield, now 2-12 on the season. Goalie Patrick Byrne stopped 33 of 38 shots.

Canfield travels to Garfield Heights Saturday to play Twinsburg again.
