Caparanis scored 11 in loss to VASJ

Nationally renowned Villa Angela-St. Joseph came into Warren and displayed why they are one of the front runners in Division III. The Vikings knocked off JFK, 79-43. VASJ led after the first quarter, 26-10, and cruised to secure their North Coast League win.

Four players scored in double figures for the Vikings led by Jeff Grudzinski’s 15. Simon Texidor Jr. and Deandre Forte both had 13 while Brian Parker had 12. Derek Pardon finished with 9.

Preston Caparanis took game-high honors for the Eagles with 11. Zachary Usher had 9 and James Burney and A.J. Grant had 8 points apiece.

JFK closes out their three-game home stand on Monday against Youngstown Christian. The 2nd ranked Vikings return  home for a matchup against Holy Name on Monday also.
