The Lowellville Rockets (13-2, 8-2) won their second straight game as they defeated Sebring, 72-53 in an ITCL, Lower Tier contest Saturday at the Lowellville Gymnasium.
The Rockets broke the game open with a 27 point second quarter, taking the lead for good at 29-19 with the benefit of a 10-2 run to start the period as they forged a 46-29 halftime advantage and never looked back.
The Rockets were led by Nick Ballone and Paolo DePasquale who each had 16 points while Cole Beatty (13 points) and Pat Mangine (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Rockets.
Joe Davis had 14 points and Dylan Mick 12 markers for the Trojans, who fell to 6-10 overall and 3-8 in the league.
The Rockets improved to 6-1 at home this season while winning for the 11th time in the past 12 outings.
