BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Many area police departments, sheriff’s offices and highway patrol posts will be out in full force Sunday making sure folks enjoying the big game don’t ruin the fun by driving while impaired.

Boardman Police in particular said they are targeting aggressive driving, distracted driving, those who are driving under the influence, as well as seat belt violations.

They issued a reminder of driving do’s and don’ts:

  • Have a designated driver or another way to get home
  • Avoid drinking too much too quickly
  • Do not let friends drive while impaired
