In court: Two arrested during meth raid

Jaymelyn Williams

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people arrested during a meth lab raid in Coitsville were in court on Monday.

Jaymelyn Williams, 24, of Girard, appeared in Lisbon court on a theft charge from an unrelated case dating back to 2012. Her bond was set at $1,000.

Seth Keyes, 36, of Hubbard, appeared in Austintown court on three counts of forgery from a November 2013 case. Bond was set at $10,000.

Williams and Keyes were taken into custody during a raid on a home in Coitsville last Friday where township police, agents with the U.S. Marshals Office, Mahoning County Sheriff’s deputies and drug task force agents descended on a house on John White Road, near the Pennsylvania border,  after a three-month undercover investigation into drug manufacturing inside the home.

Police estimate between 3 and 5 grams of methamphetamine was found. They said the estimated street value would be $500,000.

Five people were found inside the house. Three of them had outstanding warrants, including Aaron Knupp, who police said lives there and was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on drug charges Thursday.

Knupp is scheduled to be arraigned in Mahoning County Court on Tuesday.
