Arrest made in New Castle murder


NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – Police have arrested a suspect in the Jan. 30 shooting death of Robert Quincy Brown.

Carlos Anthony Thompson, 37, was charged with criminal homicide, murder, robbery and illegal possession of a firearm. Police said Thompson was arrested Tuesday after being interviewed. They said Thompson admitted to the shooting.

Police were called about 2 a.m. Jan. 30 to the 1100 block of Sciota Street behind Lutton Automotive for a suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived, they found Brown, 35, lying outside the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
