Covelli speaks to Warren Rotary

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Sam Covelli was the guest speaker at the Warren Rotary Club meeting Wednesday afternoon.

Covelli spoke to the crowd about the history of his business and how it started. He talked about how important it is that the headquarters stays in the Valley and how important it is that his company supports local charities.

The company is set to open its 250th Panera Bread that will be located in Boardman, in the same town that the first one was built.

“If I ever have to take a shortcut in one of our restaurants to keep growing is the day I quit growing,” Covelli said.

The club honored Covelli with the Paul Harris Fellows award.
