*In their first meeting this season on January 10, Desmond McElroy paced the Irish with 22 points including 10 in the first quarter. In overtime after the Cardinals committed a foul on Dave Collins, he made one of his two free throws with five seconds remaining to secure the single digit victory. Mark Handel and Joe Cunningham led Mooney with 18 and 17 points, respectively.  The Cards made just 10 of 20 shots from the foul line.
