Fire damages house in Boardman

BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Several fire departments responded to a house fire Thursday morning in Boardman Township.

The foreclosed house on Yellow Creek Drive is vacant and investigators are trying to determine how the flames broke out in a back room of the ranch style house.

No one was hurt in the fire. Damage was contained to the back of the home.

Seven surrounding departments responded to the scene. A cause is still under investigation.
