Classy cookie fundraiser held downtown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — It felt like a classic Mahoning Valley wedding reception on Saturday night inside the Tyler History Center in downtown Youngstown.

Although no one tied the knot,  the second annual Cookie Table and Cocktails fundraiser took place.

The signature event, organized by the Young Leaders Advisory Board of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, raises money to bring new exhibits to the Tyler History Center.

Along with traditional cookie tables, sponsors enjoyed music, dancing, drinks, food, auctions and even a cookie competition.
