Fitch hands Lakeview 2nd loss

Austintown Fitch girls handed Lakeview it’s second loss of the season, after a 53-26 win on Monday night.

The Falcons led 19-8 at the end of the 1st quarter, and outscored the Bulldogs 17-2 in the 2nd quarter to take a 36-10 lead into the locker room.  The Fitch lead increased to 46-16 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Fitch’s Megan Sefcik led all scorers with 22 points.  Two other players reached double-figures as well.  Sarah Melfe netted 11 points, while Cassie Custer added 10.

Lakeview was paced by Alli Pavlik who scored 12 points.

Fitch improves to 19-1 on the season, while Lakeview drops to 19-2.
