Ambulance emergency

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A routine truck cab connection turned fatal early Friday morning in Shenango Township, Pa., when a truck driver was pinned between his cab and the corner of a parked trailer.

Police reports say a truck driver was attempting to connect his cab to a parked trailer just before 3 a.m. at Estes Trucking at 64 Stefanak Drive in Shenango Township. He exited the truck to go to the rear of the cab, and when it started drifting, he attempted to reach back into the cab to hit the brakes.

He was pinned between the door of the cab and a trailer next to the one to which he wanted to hook.

The driver’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
