Butcher helps Fitch finish off Boardman

After a back and forth three quarters, Fitch put Boardman away late to win 69-59 Tuesday.

The Falcons led 34-33 at halftime and trailed at several points in the second half. But senior Michael Butcher hit a couple big shots down the stretch to seal the deal.

Butcher finished with 16 points, and Jessie Driver added 15 points for the winners.

Boardman stayed in the game thanks to hot shooting from Brian Fryda, who hit seven three pointers, for 23 points. Ryan Mckeown had 12 and Preston Stitt added 10 for the Spartans.
