Weather not a factor in fatal crash

Ambulance emergency

COITSVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Police do not believe weather conditions were a factor in an accident that claimed the life of a Lowellville man Tuesday morning.

Leonard Fabry, 67, was traveling west on Route 422 at about 6:45 a.m. when his 2007 Kia Sedona traveled off the roadway near mile post 9. The vehicle continued down the embankment before coming to rest in the ditch.

Fabry was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

According to the Canfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident appears to be medically related.

The crash remains under investigation.
