Victory Christian tops Troy


The Victory Christian Chargers closed out their regular season with a  48-34 win against the Troy Eagles Friday evening.

The Eagles came out hot against the Chargers and forced nine turnovers in the first four minutes of play. Nick Rodriguez of the Eagles hit a three, as well as two conventional three-point plays to help boost the Eagles to their early lead.

With five minutes to go in the first half, the Chargers found themselves down by twelve.

Dorian Kundel brought the Chargers back to within one, with three 3- pointers and a fast break layup off of a nice assist by Jonathan Creed.

The Eagles opened the second half with energy and forced two turnovers and brought the score within 3.

The Chargers then pushed back with a three pointer by William McDermott to begin their run. The Chargers continued to look to the post in the second half and closed out the game with a score of 48-34.
