Wellsville’s Scott reaches milestone in win

Wellsville Senior Nate Scott became the school’s all-time leading scorer as the Tigers topped Lowellville, 69-66 Friday night.  He finished with 20 points on the night, and now has 1,555 career points.

The Tigers also capped off an undefeated ITCL season with a record of 14-0.

Jordan Sloan scored 17 points in the win, while Camden Douglas added 16 points and 12 assists.  Seth Bradford chipped in with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the Tigers.

Nick Ballone led Lowellville with a game-high 26 points and 5 rebounds.  Alex Harklerode  added 13 points on the night.

Wellsville concludes the regular season with a record of 20-2 (14-0 ITCL).  The top-seeded Tigers will face East Canton Tuesday at 7PM at home in the first-round of the Division IV tournament (Struthers District).

Lowellville drops to 17-4 overall (11-4 ITCL).   The 3rd-seeded Rockets will face the winner of Lordstown/Western Reserve Friday at 7PM in Lowellville in the sectional final of the Division IV tournament (Struthers District).
