United’s Conser set to play in 70th career game

United’s Caleb Conser will be playing in his 70th career game tonight when the Golden Eagles travel to Lisbon to take on the 3-seeded Blue Devils in the Salem District Sectional Semifinal. Conser has played in 20 or more games in each of the past three seasons. Caleb has scored over 185 points and has hauled down 60 or more caroms in each of the past two campaigns.

Career wise, Conser has scored 477 points, grabbed 191 rebounds, and has stolen 47 balls during his time on the varsity level.

United is 3-19 on the season. The Eagles’ last meeting with the Devils resulted in a 49-37 loss at Lisbon.

Coach Matt Mowery’s bunch has been led by the scoring of freshman Jake Clark (11.0 ppg) and junior Braden Davison (10.5). Clark has made 36 of 135 three-point baskets (26.7%) while making 73.3% from the line (66-90) this season. Davison has accumulated a stat line of 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.5 assists.
