Boil advisory issued for parts of Canfield

Drinking water

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – As a precautionary measure, Canfield officials have issued a boil advisory for residents of Talsman Drive.

Homes between Hilltop Boulevard and Montgomery Drive are advised to boil water for consumption until 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Water for cooking, drinking, and oral hygiene should be boiled for at least one minute prior to use.

Any other city resident experiencing discolored water from the tap should also consider boiling their water.

The boil advisory was issued after a waterline broke about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on Talsman. The break was repaired by 12 p.m.
