Game Notes: Farrell leads the series 10-7 while the Steelers have defeated the Warriors in three of their five all-time meetings in the district playoffs.

Farrell dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season in early February to Meadville (56-50) and Grove City (72-69). Since then, the Steelers have won their last five including a pair of playoff games which were decided by a total of five points (Girard, 63-60 & Strong Vince, 71-69)…Farrell is seeking their 6th District 10 championship and their 19th district title overall (13 WPIAL)…Malik Miller leads the team in scoring with a 13.3 average. Chris James tallied a 12.1 average while Ike Jones is also scoing in double figures (11.5). Jones also is second on the team in rebounding (5.9), trailing only Tyrone Archie who is hauling down 7.8 boards a game.

East actually began the season with a 3-2 mark. Over their last 19 games, the Warriors have compiled 17 wins en route to the Region 6 title. East won the 2010 District 10 championship. Just last year, the Warriors finished with a 12-13 record.
