Rucker hits Covelli with country sound

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The former lead singer of the rock group Hootie and the Blowfish performed at the Covelli Centre Friday night.

Darious rucker is now singing country music with his signature voice.

His first platinum country record was five years ago. Since that time, Rucker has racked up a number of hits including “Wagon Wheel,” “Alright” and “Heartbreak Road.”

Other favorites Rucker performed at the show include “Wont be like this for long,” “I don’t think about it,” and “Radio.” Rucker also did a cover of the John Mellencamp hit “Pink Houses.”
