Church offers anti-bullying support

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohoi (WKBN) – Students gathered in Youngstown Saturday to take a stand against bullying.

The event, called Help Stamp Out Bullying, was hosted by East High School’s Destination Imagination team.

The event was held at the Spanish Evangelical Church in Youngstown.

“What we’ve had today here is testimony of some of the children who have been bullied, who have been victims and they expressed themselves,” said Associate Pastor Ruth Rojas, Spanish Evangelical Church.

Rojas said the church will continue to fight bullying and support students.
