Dunn to leave YSU earlier than slated

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown State University President Randy Dunn is not staying at the school throughout the summer.

This comes after he announced last month that he’s taking a job at Southern Illinois University in the fall.

Chairman of the YSU Board of Trustees Doctor Sudershan Garg said that President Randy Dunn isn’t staying at the university through the original Aug. 16 end date.

Garg said the board is meeting Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. to discuss an earlier end date, which Garg noted could be as soon as the end of the month. He also said that the board is working with legal counsel to guide them in making this decision, and that they need to speak with Randy Dunn.
