I-680, SR 11 to see lane restrictions, exit ramp closures

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Nighttime travelers on I-680 may find their commutes disrupted Thursday night due to road repairs.

Beginning Thursday at 11 p.m. through 7 a.m. Friday, I-680 northbound and southbound between Western Reserve Rd. and Meridian Rd. will have various lane restrictions for roadway patching operations, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation news release.Repairs to State Road 11 will also affect travelers in Girard and Austintown Township in the coming days.

Wednesday, the SR 11 southbound exit ramp to I-80 eastbound will have 15-minute intermittent closures beginning at 7 p.m. through 3 a.m. Thursday morning for roadway coring operations, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation news release.

Wednesday and Thursday into early Friday morning, the SR 11 northbound exit ramp to I-80 westbound will have 15-minute intermittent closures beginning at 7 p.m. through 3 a.m. for repairs.
