Poland pulls away late for spot in District Finals

Poland used a big third quarter Wednesday to pull away from Ravenna, 64-52, and secure a spot in the Division II District Finals.

The Bulldogs led 26-24 at halftime, and extended their lead to 46-37 at the end of three.

Dan Black and Kyle Dixon both scored 15 points, and Jared Burkert added 12 for Poland.

Ravenna was led by Ty-Shawn Dukes with 14 points.

Poland will play the winner of #2 Canfield and #3 Cardinal Mooney this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Warren Harding High School.
