South Range bows out in Regional semis

The South Range girls fell to Smithville on Wednesday night in the Division III Regional semifinals, 45-16.

The Raiders could only muster three first half baskets, and trailed the Smithies 31-7 at halftime. The 3rd quarter was more evenly matched, as the Raiders only gave up four points. However, they only scored four points as well.

Ashley Sharp led the scoring for South Range with 7 points. Sara Durr chipped in 6 points in the defeat.

South Range finishes it’s season, 23-4.
