Boil advisory canceled for Hubbard customers

The city of Cortland remains under a boil advisory.

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – UPDATE: The boil water advisory for the city of Hubbard water customers has been canceled.

The waterline repair on East Liberty Street was completed on Friday evening about 11 p.m. and was able to be made without depressurizing the system.

Water customers in Hubbard had been asked to conserve water for  as crews make repairs to a water line.

A notice sent by Mayor John Darko called for water conservation on Friday.  During that time, the city was not be able to receive water for the Christian Avenue storage tank. The tank will be filled prior to the repairs.
