McDonald falls big in District finals

St. Thomas Aquinas started the Division IV District Championship on 17-2 run, and never looked back. The Knights led by 16 at the end of the 1st quarter, 20 by halftime, 37 by the start of the 4th, and finished with a 42 point victory over McDonald, 90-48.

Senior Austin Hill led Aquinas with 28 points. Anthony Moeglin added 24, with Daniel Piero chipping in 16, and Pete Ruthe finished with 11 for the Knights.

McDonald was led in scoring by Matt Seitz with 19, and Ken Greaver’s 16 points.
