No cleanup needed for spilled milk

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) —  An update tonight on an accident on Interstate 76 last night that sent one man to the hospital and dumped unpasturized milk into a creek.

Tom Holloway  – with the Mahoning Valley sanitary District – told us this afternoon that there was some milk in a feeder creek to the Meander Reservoir.

He didn’t know how much milk may have spilled, but said it doesn’t appear as if there is enough to warrant a cleanup.

The spill happened when a trucker traveling eastbound lost control.

The rig went off the road, into the woods and then overturned.

The was flown to St. E’s hospital.
Haz-Mat crews were among the responders.
