Navigating through Mill Creek park can be difficult with more than 20 miles of twisting-and-turning roads.

But starting next month, the park is offering tours aboard a trolley known as the Cohasset Express. The new transportation option was unveiled Monday at the MetroParks Farm in Canfield.

“If it’s a casual drive through the park, or if you want to get a bit more info and find out more history there’s going to be an opportunity for people to sign up for our different tours,” said Mill Creek MetroParks Executive Director Dennis Miller.

The tours start on Earth Day, April 22. The cost is $5 for Mahoning County residents, $7 for non-residents. The trolley also will be available to rent for special occasions.

“What a great opportunity we have of showcasing the Metro Parks and the diversity of everything we have to offer from one of the state of Ohio’s finest public gardens to the history of the parks and the architect of the park,” Miller said.
