Ohio State seeking 4th title in 5 years

After registering a perfect 15-0 start, the Buckeyes struggled over their next six games (1-5). OSU has righted their ship winning 7 of their final 10 games to enter the Big Ten Tournament. During that stretch, despite dropping two recent contests to two of the league’s bottom feeders (Penn State and Indiana), they’ve notched wins at Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State.

Ohio State (23-8) opens their conference tourney play with a match up against Purdue on Thursday at 2:30 PM. The winner will play against Nebraska the next day. The Buckeyes have compiled an impressive Strength of Schedule (16) and a high RPI (24) which makes them assured of a position in the Big Dance next week. CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has them listed as a #5 seed, currently.
