Call from pharmacy leads to drug arrests

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Boardman police arrested four people from Ellwood City, Pa., early Friday morning on charges of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs after a call from a local pharmacy alerted officials to their presence.

Police arrested Isiah Carr, 18; Jordan Dimuccio, 20; April Squires, 31; and Joshua Stitt, 25; after a search of their vehicle turned up chemicals for making methamphetamine, as well as marijuana, according to a police report.

Police stopped Stitt, who was driving, and asked him to get out of the vehicle after he appeared nervous. Stitt admitted to having marijuana in the car and later gave police permission to search the vehicle, according to the report.

Employees from a Walgreen’s pharmacy at 7295 Market Street in Boardman called police after Stitt drove the vehicle back and forth in the parking lot.

The four suspects were booked at Mahoning County Jail.
