Vikings end Ursuline’s season in Regional Finals

Ursuline couldn’t overcome a slow start, and fell to Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph 69-60 in a Division III Regional Final Saturday.

The Irish trailed by 12 points at halftime, and cut the lead single digits in the third quarter, but the Vikings pulled sealed the deal in the fourth.

Carlton Bragg led the winners with 21 points, while Brian Parker and Simon Texidor each contributed 15.

Ursuline’s Mark Hughes paced the Irish with 22 points. Greg Perell scored 12, and Dave Collins chipped in 10.
