Niles welcomed the Pet Expo

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) — The Northeast Ohio Pet Expo wraps up today in Niles.

The event showcases trainers, retailers, groomers and other pet-related services. It aims at raising awareness for animal rescues and other charities that help out our furry friends.

Fido was even welcome to attend! Organizer Judi Henninger says she thinks the expo is so popular because of people’s love for their pets.

“I think it’s because it’s a large array of different people who get together for that reason, we have a lot of different vendors that you don’t see in other places,” said Judi Henninger, Pet Expo organizer.

Other activities included a pet fashion show.  Henninger says this event will be back next year.
