YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A long-time restaurant owner is suing a new eatery, saying the name and logo are unfairly copying his business.

Anthony Saadey, owner of Mr. Anthony’s and the now-closed Anthony’s on the River, filed the lawsuit Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. He said the newly opened Anthony’s Italian Grill and Pub on U.S. Route 224 is just too similar to his business and has confused customers.

Saadey is asking the courts to issue an injunction against the new restaurant. The new grill is owned by Daniel Perry of Canfield.
