Fire damages mobile home

MAHONING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) — A mobile home in Lawrence County was nearly destroyed by a fire Wednesday night.

The fire broke out just after 8 p.m. in the Twilight Trailer Park off Gary Lane in Mahoning Township. Firefighters said the homeowner was painting in the back of the trailer and accidentally knocked over a can of paint thinner.

The thinner spilled onto a space heater and caught the trailer on fire. The homeowner managed to get out of the trailer unharmed.
