Victim identified in Goshen fatal fire

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — The Mahoning County Coroner has identified the man killed in a Thursday afternoon garage fire as Anthony Thomas Decrow Jr., 63.

Deputy Coroner Dr. Joseph Ohr said autopsy results are pending,  but there was no evidence of trauma found on Decrow’s body. Toxicology results also are pending.

Ohr said Decrow was positively identified through dental records. His body was found inside a burned-out car in the garage at 14810 Country Club Lane.

The garage was not attached to the house, but was close enough that flames damaged a portion of the home’s siding.

The fire still is under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal.
