Local rescue dog gets billing in ‘Annie’ performance

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Students at St. Christine School are ready to open the curtain on several months of hard work.

“Annie” the musical opens Thursday night and runs through Saturday at the school on Schenley Avenue. All performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children.

The school is partnering with Close to Home Animal Rescue since one of their cast members, Sandy, is a rescue dog.

Patrons are asked to bring a donation to the performance that can be donated to the rescue center.
