Ursuline Preschool 50th

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — The Ursuline Preschool & Kindergarten asked hundreds of princes and princesses to be their guest for a royal ball Friday evening.

The program is celebrating 50 years in the Valley and put on the ball for the kids. Princesses were given wands from Snow White and princes got medals from Pocahontas.

There also was a photo booth, arts and crafts, and plenty of royal dancing. The event took place at the Ursuline Center auditorium on Shields Road.

Teaching assistant Kris Oddis said the kids have been waiting for the event all week.

“The kids were so excited and to see everyone walk in and they’re so excited and their eyes just opened up with the decorations. We’ve never done anything like this in the center before and it’s a wonderful feeling to see how the children are reacting. They love it,” Oddis said.

Parents paid $20 for tickets to the ball. Money raised from the ball will benefit the school.
