Meals on Wheels shows off new location

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Meals on Wheels of Mahoning County is showing off their new location.

The organization moved to the Calvary Towers on Market Street which is right next to their old headquarters at the John Knox Presbyterian Church.

Today board members hosted a dedication and open house for folks to stop it and check it out.  They say that the new space will help them better serve the community.

“We have a little more room here, the facility is all brand new so we will be able to serve the community in fact e are located on the lower level of Calvary Towers where there’s about 70 units filled with senior citizens up over us so we feel that we’re right here in the city and we can have access to our senior citizens,” said Linda Jenkins, director Meals on Wheels.

They also recognized Reverend William Wolfgang for his years of service and dedication to the program.
