GIBSONIA, Pa. (AP) – The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office says one person is dead following a house fire in Pittsburgh’s North Hills suburbs.

But investigators say the cause of the person’s death and their identity may not be released until Monday, as the probe continues.

Emergency dispatchers say fire crews were sent to the home in Richland Township about 3 a.m. Saturday. That’s about 15 miles north of the city.

It was not immediately clear how the fire began, nor whether anybody else was in the home at the time.
