Overnight shooting in Youngstown injures city man

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown police are investigating an overnight shooting that injured a city man.

It happened just after 2 this morning in the 23-hundred block of Glenwood Avenue.

According to a unnamed witness, she and Bralin Allen were shot at while driving.

The witness told police that Allen was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center by another woman.

Police searched the area and found four shell casings and a bullet fragment.

While at St. E’s , Allen – who had a bullet fragment in the back of his head – told police he did not know who shot him.

As of this afternoon, no one was in custody.
