Two arrested in meth bust

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — Two people were detained Saturday afternoon after the Columbiana County Drug Task Force uncovered a mobile meth lab in Perry Township.

It all began when police found what they said looked to me a mobile lab inside a car.

They called in the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, who took control of the scene.

Several apartments were evacuated because of the hazardous chemicals used to make meth.

Firefighters were called out to make sure everything stayed safe– and the Sheriff’s office and Salem police were also on the scene.

Police arrested Kyle Gray and Chantel Shuman, both of Salem.

Gray was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Shuman was charged with possessing drug instruments.

They are due in court this week.
