Veteran shares success of special court

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – One of the first success stories of Youngstown’s Veterans Treatment Court returned to town to share his story.

Vietnam Veteran Curtis Minnifield graduated from the program in March 2012. Wednesday, he was back in Judge Robert Milich’s courtroom speaking to other veterans waiting for their cases to be heard.

Youngstown Veterans Treatment Court helps veterans in the criminal justice system get the treatment, support and services they need to live stable, healthy lives.

Minnifield is now Elder of Outreach Ministry for the Abundant Love and Miracle Temple.

He also owns a landscaping company in California.
