Vienna police seek suspect

VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) — The township police department is seeking the public’s help to locate a man accused of trespassing onto a resident’s property last week.

Vienna police officer Jessica Gollan said she responded to a residential burglar alarm on Scoville North Road about 3 p.m. Monday. While investigating the alarm drop, the homeowner arrived and said there was a blue Honda in his driveway when he arrived home from work about 3 p.m. on Friday.

The homeowner said he asked the man in the blue Honda what he was doing and the man told him he was “turning around.” The homeowner told officer Gollan he became suspicious, so he wrote down the license plate number of the Honda as it was backing out of his driveway.

Gollan said after further investigation of the blue Honda, she filed a criminal trespassing warrant Wednesday in Girard Municipal Court against Jacob Dively, 31, of Howland. She said Dively is a person of interest in other investigations in Vienna.

He is described as a white male, about 5′-8″, 210 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He is driving a blue Honda.

Anyone who knows of Dively’s whereabouts is asked to call the Trumbull County 911 Center at 330-675-2730.
