Over 100 pot plants found in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN,) – A tip from a citizen led police to find 100 marijuana plants Friday in the basement of a house in Warren.

Our print partner, the Tribune Chronicle, reports the Ohio State Highway Patrol notified Warren police of the complaint.

The chief said officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana when they approached the front door of the home located in the 2200 block of Brier Street S.E.

Officers discovered about 100 pot plants and several guns in the home.

Charges are pending as police continue to investigate.
