Fire destroys 3 homes

WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) — Three houses were destroyed by fire on Sunday.

According to the Wellsville fire chief, the blaze started just after 2 a.m. at 1224 Commerce St. and spread to two other houses.

He said heavy winds stoked the flames and likely were the reason the fire spread.

All three homes were occupied, but no one was injured.

The state fire marshal is investigating, and there is no damage estimate yet.

Crews were at the scene until about 10 a.m.
