Power restored to Trumbull County residents

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) — Ohio Edison crews worked through the morning and into the afternoon on Sunday to restore power to about thousands of customers in Trumbull County.

According to Ohio Edison, there was a pole fire in Vienna about 1 a.m. that initially cut power to 3,000 customers.

Most of the outages were in Liberty, Vienna and Brookfield townships.

By 2 a.m., most people had their power restored, but crews were on the scene until the afternoon fixing the issue.
